Specifications

Adélie is a South Coast One design (SCOD) built by Burnes Shipyard,
Bosham, in 1961 to the C. A. Nicholson design. Construction is Mahogany
planking on to Oak frames, copper fastened. The coachroof is Mahogany,
decks are epoxy glass sheathed ply. She has a traditional long keel the cast
Iron ballast keel is held by galvanised Iron keelbolts - last drawn and replaced
in 2002.
She has just had new stainless steel standing rigging fitted.
