The Alderman B.O.Davis was a Tees Port, Pilot Cutter. She was substantially
built by the legendary Millers Yard at St Monance, Fyfe, Scotland of Larch on
Oak in 1955. Her decks are Teak. The current owner bought her in 1998 and has used her as a
"Boys boat" going out with his pals up and down the east coast and
occasionally to London. Below, she is largely in original condition and now
needs much attention, though is believed to be structurally sound. She is a
Project Boat that could convert into a fine Gentleman's Motor Yacht or,
possibly, a live-aboard house-boat.
She currently offers 12 berths in five cabins. Propulsion is by Gardner 8L3
8-cylinder diesel understood to be in good order. She has a 220 Volt AC generator for
cooking / lighting etc..
