Engine and Mechanics

Volvo Penta 62 hp MD 31A2B 4 cylinder diesel engine.
Two Alternators (Starboard Service battery, Port Engine battery).
Fuel consumption 4 litres per hour.
Cruising speed 5 knots.
Maximum speed 7 knots.
Shaft drive to 3 bladed propellers via Aquadrive.
Spurs rope cutter fitted forward of the propeller.
Volvo Penta single lever controls (2 positions).

The Volvo engine situated under saloon floor, accessed by 4 removable insulated hatches.

Engine start battery is boxed forward of the engine 185 amp hours (new 2014).

To starboard of the engine are two boxed service batteries 170 amp hours each.

Fresh water and fuel tank control cocks are operated from this compartment with cross over pipes for fuel/water distribution.

Aft of the engine starboard side is the hot water calorifier.
