Owner's Comments

Beulah is very comfortable in up to moderate seas, the Oleinski designed hull is renowned for excellent sea keeping, driving her downwind is an exhilarating experience, she has always inspired confidence. We have crossed the English channel several times safe in the knowledge the boat will cope with much more than we will.

Manoeuvring her in close quarters is very easy. With outdrive power, the Bowthruster, and the helm indicator she can be made to go sideways; going astern is a simple manoeuvre as you can vector the sterndrives, the boat will also turn in its own length.

Top speed is around 40 Knots; comfortable and economical cruising is 27 Knots at ~ 2,900 rpm, fuel consumption is then around 50 litres per hour; our average diesel consumption including slow running through the moorings is 40 Litres per hour, both engines.

There is great space for entertaining, with two levels of seating in the cockpit, a large sun pad and the saloon down below.

Builders Comment

She might be the smallest, but she is also the fastest in the Fairline fleet. Superbly engineered and planned, the Targa 34 has a top speed approaching 40 knots - yet is one of the very few boats in her class to feature two totally seperate sleeping cabins. As with many Fairlines, she has the luxury feel and the "presence" of much larger, slower, more expensive boats.

Her Oleinski hull delivers a smooth ride even in choppy seas, enabling you to maintain a brisk pace, while skippers of less agile boats are backing off on the throttles.
