Owner's Comments

We bought this vessel in 1992, and enjoyed her sailing ever since, for the great looks and sailing emotions of a classic, still having the benefits of modern boatbuilding technology.

We enhanced her potential and standard for extensive cruising on long vacations with family and friends by a major refit of the interior in 1993.

The hull has the lines of the early 1930 s&s design for ocean racing. Once under sail and on one ear, the water line lengthens with more than 2 m, giving that incomparable boost to a classic.

Still having a true sailboat, the raised saloon (almost to the level of the cockpit) makes all the difference for pleasant family cruising.

A yawl is great in all extremes: when it really gets rough, enjoy fingertip steering on jib, staysail and mizzen. on reefed mizzen at anchor no swinging: safe, but also capturing the lightest breeze to keep her fresh.

Coming on age ourselves, we are selling her to replace her for a new build motor yacht in the same 1930 style.

RECOMMENDED CARE

-Since the cockpit lockers and the sliding roof of the entrance have been overlooked whilst renewing the Teak deck Sikaflex, they are due for maintenance.
-Sail Covers (zippers and general condition)
-Some ropes (control lines) are due for replacement
