Bramble is an early Itchen ferry believed built by D. B. Marine Ltd of Southampton around 1970. She has a long ballasted keel that has been deepened by a lead filled steel shoe to give additional stability. Keel bolts are all new.

She has a GRP hull massively laid using woven rovings! Her decks are marine Ply and her superstructure Marine ply, Mahogany and Teak.

She comes with a new set of sails by James Lawrence Sailmakers of Brightlingsea.

She has a Yanmar YSE8G diesel engine (re-built 2003) and offers four berths in two cabins. 

She is built on traditional, heavy displacement, workboat lines and has full standing headroom in the main cabin. 

This craft has been substantially refurbished both inside and out.
