Catnap is a Weston 8500, built by Weston Boats, Tiptree Essex in 1986, fitted out by the then
owner and launched on 1990. Understood to be produced in the same moulds as
the Varne 27, she has a medium fin keel Beta 10hp diesel engine (1998) on a
saildrive and a skeg hung rudder.
She offers four berths in two cabins, and has a galley and heads and
comes complete with Liferaft, Dinghy, GPS, VHF, Autopilot etc., etc..
An excellent sea boat, the current owner has cruised the Suffolk, Essex and
Kent coasts and the near continent including France, Belgium and Holland.
She is now presented in end of season condition and could do with some
