Ceol Mor (big music) is an exciting sail-anywhere, fast (up to 7.7 kn) 10 metre fin keel yacht, fully equipped for extended cruising sleeping six in three cabins. In our voyages to St.Kilda, the Shetlands and the west coast of Ireland and the outer Hebrides in all sorts of seas and weather she has never given us a moment's anxiety.
She is a Westerly Storm 33 OD with a sugar scoop stern built in 1987 to Westerly's exacting standards with hand-laid glass fibre and double gelcoated above & below waterline.

We have upgraded her with new shrouds, electric windlass, new engine mounts, exhaust pipe, stack pack & lazy jacks, solar battery charger, Autohelm ST 4100, new prop, gear-box to engine drive, batteries and four-man life raft, alternator, control panel, 55 metres anchor chain, dodgers with boat's name and other lesser items.

The engine is the original Volvo Penta 2-cylinder 18 HP diesel, scrupulously maintained engine will push the boat along at 6.5 kn. at 2500 rpm, 2 litres/hoour. Fresh water colled. Heat exchanger recently refurbished. Primary & secondary fuel filters, oil filter, air filter.

All halyards return to the cockpit with a self-tailing winch for the main, two way foresail winches with jammers, adjustable rear stay, tiller steering, and boarding ladder.
