Owners comments:

Checkmate is a classic runabout, more akin to a "hotrod" than a Sportsboat. She has the appearance, performance and an exhaust note to die for and is not for the feint hearted or the shy & retiring kind!

Neither is she to be confused with the average Sportsboat as this boat is of extremely strong, light construction with an extreme power to weight ratio, hence her superb speed and acceleration. Her Morse combined throttle and gearbox control gives seamless power on tap and her hydraulic rudder steering provide effortless control.

She was totally restored / re-engineered and re-modelled over a four year period by the present owner who is a shipwright / surveyor, who now having played with his ultimate toy wants another challenge and his garage back. For show or fun, you will not be disappointed.

Lying in sunny Poole, she is in turn key condition and ready for demonstration for the serious enquirer. Oh yes, she is both structurally and cosmetically immaculate with lashings of high quality varnish work (10 coats of Epifanes over primer) and new upholstery.

This one off modern classic is realistically priced for a quick sale and will prove a sound investment if looked after.
