Columba is a Shetland model Eela boat built by Norfolk wooden boat builder, Frank Schofield in 1997 to a design based on Ian Oughtred's work.

She comes with balanced lug sail by James Lawrence Sail Makers of Brightlingsea and a galvanised road trailer.

She was exhibited at the 1997 Southampton Boat Show and the Greenwich Wooden Boat Show.

Clinker-ply construction, West System Epoxy glued with strong laminated ash frames at each thwart, bronze fastenings.

Though easily launched and sailed single handed, she will take two or three.

There is a mounting pad for a 2-3hp outboard motor. However she rows extremely easily and comes with four Shetland style oars.
