The fresh water cooled 33hp Vetus 414 A102 4-cylinder diesel engine has good access and is surrounded by sound insulation.   It drives a three-bladed bronze propeller through a Hurth gearbox.

Cruising speed is 5-6knots at 2000 rpm,  up to 7.5 knots at 3000 rpm. Fuel consumption is around 2-3 litres per hour at 2000rpm

The single lever Forward - Neutral - Astern control is by the helm
