Engine

The 15 Hp Yanmar Diesel has both manual and electric start. Drive is through a conventional stern shaft and tube to a three bladed propeller. The stern gland greaser is in the port cockpit locker.

Max speed under power is typically 6 knots. Cruising speed 5 knots. Consumption approximately 1/4 Gallon per hour.

Access is by removal of the companion way steps and via access panels in the starboard quarter berth.

The engine water filter and fuel filter/water separator are conveniently located immediately in front of the engine

The engine control panel is conveniently positioned to port in the cockpit

Control of engine speed and gearbox are by single lever control adjacent to the helm
