Engine
The engine is a single cylinder Sabb diesel driving a
variable pitch propeller to give forward neutral and
reverse.
It was removed from the boat and professionally
overhauled in 1990, a new cylinder head was fitted in 1993
and the alternator serviced in 2001.
The engine has always been serviced to the manufacturers
specifications.
Fuel consumption is approximately 1/4 gallon per hour at
five knots. There is an 8 gallon diesel tank.
