Specifications

Enchantress is a Mapleleaf 23 centreboard sloop, by Chandler & Smith (Boat builders) Ltd in 1969. She offers four berths, a galley and heads in a dinette layout that, incredibly, can seat eight below decks.

She is clinker built with Mahogany planking on Canadian Rock Elm frames Centreline and floors are of Iroko the stem is laminated and she has marine plywood decks. The keel is 10cwt cast iron; 10 keelbolts were replaced in 1993.
