France II is an ex Americas Cup Ocean racer that has been converted into a luxury yacht - ideal for family cruising but also for the popular Classic Yacht Racing circuit.

She was designed by André Mauric, Marseille, built by H. Egger, Pontarlier, of cold moulded Mahogany, in 1976 for Baron Marcel Bich (ball point pen, razor and lighter fame!) and l´Association Francaise pour la Coupe de l´America" to represent France in the trials for the 1977 America's Cup.

She has teak laid decks. She sleeps up to 6 in three cabins. Mechanical propulsion is by 170 hp Yanmar diesel and she has a Fisher - Panda Generator, has air conditioning and heating, satellite phone / fax and TracVision satellite TV.
