Owner's Comments

I have just completed a nine week cruise around the British Isles in Franzi.  Click here for details  She was raced regularly in the 1960's in the Junior Offshore Group (JOG) and still carries her sail No.  of 170 - I crewed on her for many years.

the UKSA bought her in the late 1990's and started her rebuild with new decks, Keel bolts and floors after stripping her out completely.

I purchased her in 2000 and carried on her rebuild, with epoxied decks; re-chromed deck fittings and all new mahogany deck trim (gunwales, toerails, hatches etc..

She was launched briefly in 2001 then laid up again at the end of the year to finalise the rebuild.

After many years a new interior, cockpit and engine installation have been completed and she was launched in May 2007 prior to her 9 week British Isles cruise.
