40 Square Meter Sloop, Genesta


Genesta is a 40sq m class sloop, designed and built by Johan Anker (Dragon fame) of Soon Slip og. Baatbyg, Norway in 1919. Construction is Pine on Oak with a GRP sheathed ply deck. Coachroof and cockpit are Teak She has an Iron keel, keelbolts inspected / replaced 2013. Her Stainless Steel standing rigging was replaced in 2007. Her Beta Marine 13.5hp diesel engine was fitted in 2006. 

She offers up to three berths in two cabins, has a basic galley and a sea toilet.

Her owner, who regularly sails her single handed, bought her back in 1998, she has been professionally maintained to a very high standard.
