Gularis was designed jointly by Captain Charles Hyland & Arthur
Hepburn Comben in the January of 1938 and built by Staniland and Co. Ltd.
of Thorne, believed to be of pitch pine planking on oak frames. She has
twin BMC Commodore diesels, understood to have been installed in 1961 and
offers up to five berths.
