Owner’s Comments

A very handsome traditional craft. Well designed for pleasurable cruising with excellent sea keeping abilities (ex-working boat), can easily be sailed by two. Spacious enough to be comfortable to live aboard and spacious on deck.

She has been maintained to a very high standard hence the current condition.

I slip Harbinger every year to paint her and antifoul and do any work needed. At the moment she is pale blue with dark blue rubbing strake.

In 2004 I unstepped her mast and spars stripped them back to bare wood and removed all fittings. I then re-varnished all spars and renewed all fittings and rigging.

Items replaced

All standing rigging
All running rigging
All wooded blocks
All rigging screws
all mast fittings

Also

New tiller
New gaff
New Topsail and topmast
New Light boxes

And

New Cooker and oven
