Hoitak is a Vertue designed by Laurent Giles and built in Teak by Cheoy Lee Shipyard in Hong Kong in 1962.  She offers four berths, Galley, Navigation table and heads. Mechanical propulsion is by Bukh 8hp diesel engine. She has a cast iron keel and wrought iron keel bolts - two of which were inspected in 2002.

She has been well maintained

Vertues do not come any better than those made in Teak by Cheoy Lee.  Ever since Humphrey Barton crossed the Atlantic in Vertue XXXV Vertues have been sailed round the world, often single-handed.  Their sea keeping qualities are legend.

She is a full Part One Registered British Ship.
