Owner's Comments

I was attracted to Hoitak by her quality of build - lovely lines - pedigree design and sea keeping qualities. She will always balance well and is at home in a seaway.

Hoitak has always been well maintained, both by myself and by the previous owner; being built to Lloyds A.1 and entirely of Teak it has been both enjoyable and straightforward to keep on top of things.

She has been completely rewired (professionally); all skin fittings replaced; ands also the floors removed,, re-galvanised, then replaced with new fastenings.

Stainless steel and running rigging were renewed when I purchased her six years ago.

Broker's Comments

They do not come any better than those made in Teak by Cheoy Lee.  Ever since Humphrey Barton crossed the Atlantic in Vertue XXXV, Vertues have been sailed round the world, often single-handed.  Their sea keeping qualities are legend.
