Owner's Comments

Jaynor has cruised to France (Brittany) and to Spain for the ICC Rally in 1999. She has cruised around Ireland three times and on the West coast of Scotland often.  She has taken  part in Classic Rallies and in Brittany

We have raced in several offshore races in the Irish Sea - with some success and in local Regattas and Race Series.

Racing successes:

Royal Ulster Yacht Club Port Patrick race 2007 - First in class.
Glandore Classic Week – First in Class.
First in mini- Fastnet Race, after fabulous clash with well-crewed American yacht.

Many other first in local racing in Strangford Lough and short off-shores.

Jaynor also took part in the classic event from Dartmouth to Brittany and round the Channel Islands. (The ‘Classic Chanel Regatta’).

Altogether Jaynor has busy in the last 10/11 years and has provided much fun and enjoyment for all concerned.

Jaynor getting ready for launch in 1967.

One of Arthur Robb's finest creations, his ashes were scattered from Jaynor at the Fastnet Rock in the 1969 race.
