Specifications

Jims, is a Hurst One design, built by Ian Elkins the owner of the Elkins Shipyard, Christchurch in 1963. Construction is clinker,  Mahogany on Oak, Copper and Bronze fastened. The deck is Bruynzeel marine ply.

She has a galvanised iron centreplate - inspected 2009.

She is almost original - the spars - deck - topsides outside - and rudder - have been stripped and re-furbished 5 coats of Epifanes varnish.
