Specifications

John Boy is a GRP Cox 22 day fishing / workboat built by T-Boats of Brightlingsea in the early 1970s. 

She has a long central keel and a steel skeg to protect the propeller and rudder; with her bilge keels she can take the ground safely on a drying mooring under sheltered conditions.

The wheelhouse has been extended to give additional protection to the cockpit and the cockpit has been rebuilt with Iroko raised sides and trim.
