The Morgan Out Island 41 is one of the most popular ocean cruising yachts
ever produced in the USA with over 1000 being built between 1972 and 1982. The
current owners bought her in 1995 to spend their winters in the Caribbean
sun. It did not work out so they had her shipped to the UK and have been
enjoying her ever since. She was epoxied under the waterline with 5 coats
of VC Tar epoxy on her arrival in the UK.
Jo-Lene is well equipped for long term live aboard use and, with a little
updating, would be ideal for long term cruising. Her draft would get her through
many of the European canals.
