Karis is a Normandy Class Sloop designed by Laurent Giles and built by Coombes of Bembridge Isle of Wight in 1962. She is carvel construction, teak below the waterline, Mahogany above, on Oak frames. Her long Lead keel is fastened by Galvanised steel bolts. Her superstructure is Teak. 

She offers up to four berths and mechanical propulsion is by Petter mini-twin 14hp diesel engine.
