Specifications

Karis is a Normandy Class Sloop designed by Laurent Giles and built by Coombes of Bembridge Isle of Wight in 1962. She is carvel construction, teak below the waterline, Mahogany above, on Oak frames. Her Lead keel is fastened by Galvanised steel bolts - 5 out of 6 replaced 1996.. Her superstructure is Teak, decks are 1/2 inch marine ply, canvas covered.
