Kurpfalz, German Customs Patrol Boat

£49,950

Kurpfalz was originally commissioned by the German Government as a “Zollboot” or Customs Patrol Boat and believed to be in service as such from 1958 1968. The vessel was then sold to the West German Police and continued patrolling the Rhine until decommissioned in the 1980’s.

She was built by Schless Werft of Wesel am Rhein in  riveted Aluminium alloy.  Hull form is single chine with a deep V bow warping to flat sections aft. She has been part converted into a pleasure craft but many original features have been retained.  She currently offers up to 4 berths and has two heads.

Power is by twin Mercedes OM 355 240hp diesels giving a max speed in the region of 18 knots.
