Refurbishment 2007/2008

Work carried out:

Hull (below waterline) 
Bead blasted + 8 coats of International Gel Shield anti-osmosis epoxy.

Interior:
Forepeak bulkhead replaced with 19mm marine teak faced ply.
Cabin sole re-laid with teak faced marine ply strip “planking”.
Cockpit sole – new solid teak gratings.
Cockpit seats – new solid teak seat panels (removable for servicing)
New bunk cushions throughout.
New locker fronts & trim panels.
New gas cooker & remodelled galley.
New vented fibre glass gas cockpit locker & gas plumbing
New 40 litre water tank & plumbing throughout.
Starboard bunk widened for more comfort.
New Jabsco heads.

Tiller- new laminated mahogany/spruce.

Electrical: 

All of the following replaced with new:
2 X batteries: ( 1 deep cycle – 1 engine start)
Battery control switching
Solar panel charging system with regulator
Most internal wiring.
Running lights.
Cabin lights.
GPS (Garmin) including Silva cockpit repeater
VHF (Icom) including cockpit repeater
Depth (Raymarine)
Wind speed & direction (Raymarine)
Speed/distance log (Raymarine)
New Contest steering compass

Engine & Sail Drive.

Engine & sail drive removed and serviced by Volspec in 2008 and new hull seal gaiter fitted. 
Engine & cooling system serviced every winter & again in the spring.

Rigging:

New Stainless Steel standing rigging (inc. bottle screws)
New running rigging throughout.
New Furlex genoa furling system.
New Barton single line reefing system.

Sails:

New Harken self-tailing winches
New Hood mainsail.
New Hood genoa.
New Spinnaker “snuffer”
New sail cover. 

Total cost of completing all of the above – in excess of £16,000! – bills available.
