Lady Sophie is a Motor Sailer, Gaff Ketch built by A.M. Dickie of Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Scotland in 1911.  Construction is carvel of Pitch Pine planking on oak frames, copper fastened and she is copper sheathed below the waterline. Mechanical propulsion is by Perkins 4236 4-cylinder 90hp diesel engine - rebuilt in 1998 and serviced annually since driving a three bladed propeller. 

In addition to the wheelhouse, she offers up to six berths in two cabins, has two heads, a galley and a small workshop.
