Lafiya is a 25ft Centreboard Cutter designed and built by Dixon and Sons of Exmouth in 1951 in the same style as the Maurice Griffiths Bawley yachts. Carvel constructed of West African Mahogany on Oak / Canadian Rock Elm frames she has an iron keel and centreplate. She provides two comfortable berths, galley and separate heads. Mechanical propulsion is by 10hp twin cylinder Vetus diesel engine. 

Approximate Dimensions

Sails and rigging were all new in 1999. She had a survey in 2003 - all work suggested carried out.
