Kilmore Quay 2007

I purchased "Marie Claude" originally because of my interest in traditional boats. She was on the market at the time I was interested in something bigger than my Heard 28. I have great confidence in Martin Heard's boat building skills and the fact that he built "Marie Claude" was a major plus point.

June 2007

I have sailed the length and breadth of the Irish coast, the Western and Northern Isles of Scotland, the English Channel and Northern France, usually with only two of us on board.

It is now time for me to concentrate on a smaller boat, ideally one I can operate single-handed.
