Owner's Comments
Her conversion to a yacht has been assiduously progressed, with the design and execution of the deckhouse build, machinery, pipework and electrical installation supervised by Germanischer Lloyds. Very careful attention to documentation ensures that the yacht provenance and work done is Quality Assured. The conversion programme is well along, the hull development is complete and internal bulkheads and soles laid. The tanks are fitted and shafting and rudders installed. The deckhouse is also structurally complete. To amalgamate timber with modern technology, the hull has been sheathed in glass and epoxy for protection, she needs to be faired and painted using the latest high tech systems. There are currently stabilizers and actuators fitted. The 100 hp bow thruster with variable control ensures easy docking. Germanischer Lloyds have overseen every intricate detail to rebuild this superyacht to the highest boatbuilding standard, giving their 100+ A5 +MC classification and the British Marine Safety Agency Certification. All drawings are complete with Germanischer Lloyds' approval (drawings are available in AUTOCAD and hard copy). The cost of research and development plus build to date exceeds £1.2 million (this includes approx £200k drawings). With an asking price of £75,000 this represents real value for money. |
