Sails and Deck Gear

Gaff ketch rig and Sailspar headsail reefing gear give easy control over sail area. 

Mainsail, mizzen and genoa, new in 1992. Storm jib new 1996. All sails by James Lawrence of Brightlingsea, 

Wide side decks and uncluttered foredeck make movement very safe.

There is an electric winch to raise the massive self-stowing bower anchor on half inch chain.
It is also used to raise the mast.

Gas bottles are stowed safely on deck behind the coachroof.
