I have known and admired Ostara since her owners launched her after her re-build. I have sailed in company with Ostara on several occasions, the last two on club rallies to Ostend and later up into Holland. She looks beautiful both in and out of the water and always generates admiring comments from both boat owners, who she has invariably overtaken, and landlubbers alike.

She is large enough to spend extended periods on board and with her moderate draft she is well suited for the East Coast and would get through the canals to the Mediterranean.

As a classic boat owner, I am well aware of the commitment required to keep a 50 year old boat sound and looking good. The owners of Ostara have excelled at this.

Ostara is seriously for sale as her owners have purchased a larger yacht. This presents a rare opportunity to get a fine boat at a very reasonable price.
