Engine

The Yanmar 3HM35-2.8DL, mounted on flexible mounts, along with new shaft, rope cutter and stern gear, was installed new in 1993. It has been meticulously maintained since.

Access to the 34 Hp Yanmar for all servicing is excellent. The whole companionway step assembly dismantles with four wing nuts. The installation is heavily acoustically insulated.  Filters and alternator belts are located at the forward end of the installation.

The engine instrument panel is well protected but instantly accessible just inside the cabin by the companion way.

The single lever engine control is located at the forward starboard end of the cockpit.
