July/Aug 2008 Tall Ships Races from Liverpool to Maloy (Norway) and Den Helder.

Sept-Oct 2008  started with Tall Ships Race to Portugal and Madeira for "Funchal 500". Crewed by Falmouth school students. Highly successful, Completed Race 13 miles ahead of nearest rival in Class A.  Winter in Care and Maintenance (C&M) in Weymouth.

Summer 2009 visited Bristol for the festival. Channel Cruises and Day Sailing from Weymouth.

Summer 2010 Tall Ships Races from Antwerp to Eisberg (Denmark) and Kristiansand (Norway). Average results in very straight courses. North Sea Regatta from Hartlepool to Ijmuiden (Holland). New Race concept, covered good distance. Awarded Torbay Cup for most outstanding trainee. Winter in C&M.

Summer 2011 Tall Ships Races from Waterford (Ireland) to Greenock, Lerwick (Shetlands) and Stavangar (Norway). Started last at Waterford going to a windward offshore mark. Sailed through the fleet, including the major square riggers in the world and rounded the first mark ahead of the fleet. Could not hold the lead off the wind, for the next leg, due to their massive sail area, but the point was made about the Pelican's up wind performance. Even so, she has always been highly competitive in Class A, and excelled amongst ships of her own size, remembering that the major square riggers are manned, trained and paid for by their National military or merchant marine.

Summer 2012 Started early with visits to Liverpool, the Western Isles of Scotland, London for the Jubilee Pageant and continues for the Tall Ships circuit to Spain and Ireland.

In September Pelican is scheduled to leave for South America and Antarctica to support the re-enactment of Sir Ernest Shackleton's epic 800 nm crossing of the Southern Ocean from Elephant Island to South Georgia in an open boat. (Jan/Feb 2013)

Pelican will be back in UK to Refit at the end of May 2013.
