PETERWIT" was built for her present Owners in 1979 to Lloyds Register 100A1+ Class by Bure Marine at Great Yarmouth, who exhibited her at that year's East Coast Boat Show at Ipswich – hence the exceptionally high standard of finish throughout. She has been professionally maintained ever since.

She offers up to five berths in two cabins. Mechanical propulsion is by Beta Marine BD 1005 3 Cylinder 28 bhp Diesel with PRM 80 Gearbox (both 2003).

Approximate Dimensions

The Mk. II variant of the Kylix consists of the ability to convert the starboard settee berth in the main cabin to a double berth (requiring an extra foot to be added to the beam) and the extension forward of the coach roof to include a third pair of light panels. These, together with the eight opening portlights, create a very light and airy interior with over 6' headroom (but with suitably positioned grabrails) for the whole length of the standing area in the main cabin. Both modifications were approved by MG.

Peterwit was completely re rigged as a sloop in 2004 with new Sailspar mast, boom and reefing headsail gear.
