Built Grand Fort Phillipe, France in 1963, as the "Etoile de la Perseverance" and imported into the UK in 1980 and renamed "Perseverance Star", she has been working the Southern North Sea since then.

Construction is Oak planking on Oak frames. Propulsion is a Volvo Penta TMD100C 238hp (177Kw) diesel.

There is a small galley in the wheelhouse and berths for four in the aft cabin. There is a large hold amidships and the forepeak is effectively a Bosun's store.
