Sails and Deck Gear
QUEENIE ROSE has a teak laid flush deck. The decking is laid over marine plywood which is secured to the steel deck. She is ketch rigged with self furling (in mast) mainsail and a self furling genoa / yankee foresail. All control lines run back to the cockpit for the mainsail and foresail. The aft mizzen sail is hoisted at the mast just aft of the cockpit. Sails
Winches
Anchoring equipment.There are 2 main anchors a 60 lb CQR and 45 lb Delta. The Delta is permanently attached with a cable of 60 metres of chain and 25 metres warp. There is also a Lofrans electric anchor winch with UP and DOWN buttons on the deck by the anchor. The anchor winch is connected to the 12v system via a separate circuit breaker |
