Built to Lloyds +100A1 standard and maintained in class until 1970. She was built by Moody's of Southampton to a Frederick Parker design in 1959. Rhiannon is a traditional motor cruiser of the “Gentleman’s Motor Yacht” style, with a strong bow , large foredeck and varnished wheelhouse and cabin. The saloon cabin roof is also a deck area, protected by the raised cabin sides. 

Hull construction is of mahogany on oak with ply and epoxy-glass fibre sealed decks. The engines are Perkins 4.108s, 4-cylinder diesels, nominal 45hp, dated 1979 and 1984, fitted as reconditioned units in 1995. 

She offers 4/5 berths in three cabins.
