Perkins 4.108s , 4-cylinder diesels, nominal 45hp, dated 1979 and 1984, fitted as reconditioned units in 1995.
The instrumentation comprises a tachometer for each engine, with two voltmeters for the separate battery circuits. There are charging and oil pressure warning lights and oil pressure and engine temperature meters, with a rudder indicator and horn. Fuel consumption is around 1/2 gallon per hour each at 7 knots, 1/4 gall per hour each at 5 knots Range with the two 35 gallon tanks is in the region of 450 miles. |
