Salsee of Fowey is a 30 ft motor cruiser built by Percy Mitchell and Sons of Mevagissy in 1962 and subsequently converted to a Motor Sailer by the addition of mast and sails.

Carvel built of Mahogany on Oak frames with GRP sheathed plywood decks.  Long centre keel with bilge keels.

She offers four comfortable berths in two cabins, separate heads, and a galley. there is 5ft 10ins to 6ft headroom throuought. 

Her BMC 2.2 litre fresh water cooled diesel pushes her along at around 6 knots using  approx. 1/2  gallon per hour.

She has been partially cosmetically refurbished but there is still work to be done.

Approximate Dimensions

Salsee started life as 'Cygnet', a Motor Cruiser. But has been converted to a motor sailer.

She could easily be converted back to a motor cruiser and would be ideal as an inshore / estuary / river cruiser.
