Owners' Comments

We bought the Corsair because we wanted good sailing performance from a cruising boat with plenty of room. She is very safe in heavy weather. 

In our ownership we sailed in stages from Wallasea (River Crouch, Essex) to Venezuela with 2 or 3 on board then up to the Caribbean, the Atlantic Islands and back across the Atlantic to cruise the Mediterranean.  

She is the driest boat we have ever owned and responds perfectly under sail and power and is easily handled going astern.  Easy cruising speed under sail or power is around 5-6 knots.

Salsy has been a superb cruising boat in all weathers.  She is equipped for every eventuality. She made Cape Verde's to Antigua in 14.5 days with only three on board.  She is easy to sail single handed as everything is led back to the cockpit. All instruments are doubled up. 

She is ready to do a crossing now!
