Sails and Deck Gear
Sailplan

The Ketch rig is very easily handled. The genoa has Sailspar roller reefing
and the mainsail, Kemp in-mast reefing.

The genoa sheets come back to clutches and can be hauled in on the electric
self tailing sheet winch.

There are self tailing winches for both headsail and mainsail reefing lines.

The anchor winch is electric but can also be operated by hand.

The deck-wash outlet on the foredeck is usually connected to the fresh water
tank (100 gallons) but can be changed over to seawater! The short hose for
washing the anchor and chain is shown here. There is a much longer one, stowed
in the anchor chain locker, that reaches to the stern enabling the whole boat to
be washed down.
The bow shore power connection is in use in the photo above - there is also
one at the stern for use when moored stern to.

Her wide side decks, high bulwarks, guardrails and handrails make her a safe
boat to move around on at sea.
There are the usual mooring cleats fore and aft and twin cleats either side
amidships.

She is ideal for entertaining, on deck when the weather is good, or in the
