Project
Required work:1. 2 seams between 3 planks on each side require to be filleted with new strips to close the over wide seams. Canadian Spruce strips are available for this work. The seams then require to be caulked.
2. The sides require to be painted, both above and below the water line. 3. The existing heel at the rudder hinge requires to be replaced by a new block. A suitable piece of Oak is available for this work. New bolts will be required to secure the block. 4. The Fore Hatch requires to be finished. It was intended to fit a Lewmar 500x500 hatch, which is available, can be fitted or another method can be used to fit a square hatch to match the hole in the deck. 5. A fabricated sleeve requires to be secured to the Cabin Deck head to receive the Keel mounted mast. 7. The boat needs to be completely re-wired. A high class Karunda CB control panel is available. 8. The echo sounder mounting block requires to be secured to the hull once the seams have been finished. 9. Suitable gas bottle stowage needs to be provided and piping fitted to service the Plastimo Neptune cooker. 10. Cockpit lockers covers require fixing 11. The Aft port Samson Post requires securing 12. It was intended to fit rubbing stakes. Suitable wood is available for this
The existing gas locker, which is only suitable for a small bottle, has been converted to a general use locker. Its is intended to mount the gas bottle on the aft deck, in which case no drainage would be required.
There is a 120 Ltr Plastimo flexible water tank is available, which requires installing, and piping. There is a Baby Foot pump is available, which requires installing and connecting. Basin This a single circular 12 inches sink recessed into the work top with circular worktop cover. This still requires the tap to be fitted and the sink drain piped to the hull fitting. There is also a rectangular hatch in the worktop to provide access to storage below. Heads This is a single toilet, originally specified to be installed on the centreline in the forepeak. New hull fittings are in place and sanitary hose is available to be installed Toilet type This is a new Jabsco Baby Toilet with side-mounted pump. The toilet still requires to be installed and piped.
