Fairey Swordsman, Sea Swordsman

Builders Comments

A fast planing hull with deep-V  section throughout for a smooth ride which has been proven over many thousands of Sea Miles in Fairey Marine's Swordsman 33 Fast Luxury Cruiser.

Every Fairey Marine shell is craftsman built by Fairey's unique hot moulding process : Agba veneers 2.5mm thick are laid up on a solid timber mould. As many as nine laminations are used, each glued to the previous layer with synthetic resins. When all of the laminations are in place, the shell is hot moulded under steam pressure in a giant oven. The resin liquefies under the heat impregnating the veneers before setting to form a solid one-piece hull of unequalled strength, resistant to rot and impervious to marine borers. - Fairey Marine
