Sea Swordsman is a Fairey Swordsman built by Fairey Marine and completed by
shipwright, L. Wringe and the Owner's Company to a very high standard. She was
launched in 1970. She offers comfortable accommodation for up to six and is a
full Part I Registered British Ship.
The hull is hot moulded, the bottom is made up of 7 laminations of 2.5mm Agba,
the topsides
are 6 laminations. Decks are Teak laid on marine plywood. Coachroof and
superstructure is all Utile marine ply on a Mahogany framework. Saloon,
wheelhouse and aft cabin roofs are Cascover sheathed.
She comes with a full instrumentation pack including Radar Satnav and
Autopilot.
Power is by twin Volvo Penta TAMP41P-A 200hp marine diesels installed in 2000. New
Windows and frames were also fitted in 2000.
Sea Swordsman has been maintained regardless of expense, is wintered ashore
under cover and won the Fairey Owners Club Concours de Elegance Trophy in 2001.
The owners have had her from new and have cruised to Holland, Belgium,
Germany and France and the East and South coasts of England including the River
Thames.
