Sensibility is a Super Sovereign Long Keel Ketch, built in GRP by J.W. & A. Uphams of
Brixham, and Seaglass in 1975 to the Holman and Pye design. She offers up to five berths in two cabins, has a good galley a chart table and separate
heads, hot and cold water, and a heater. Her hull had preventative
epoxy treatment in the 1980s and again in
Mechanical propulsion is by freshwater cooled 36HP BMC Thorneycroft
90, 4-cylinder diesel, rebuilt 2007. The Newage P.R.M. Gearbox
was replaced also in 2007.
She has a comprehensive electronics pack including Furuno Radar, Garmin
GPS, Brooks and Gatehouse wind, log and depth ICOM DSC VHF and a Raymarine
In current ownership since 1988, she has been lovingly maintained.
