This Westerly Centaur, Shalala, was built by Westerly Marine Construction to the Laurent Giles and Partners B-layout design in 1976. She offers up to five berths in two cabins. She has the benefit of a new Beta Marine 20hp diesel engine and new Stainless Steel standing rigging fitted in 2008; and a new furling Genoa in 2009.

Equipment includes Garmin GPS/Chartplotter, Icom DSC VHF Radiotelephone, Nasa Depth sounder, log, and a Tillerpilot Autopilot. A dinghy and outboard are also available, as extras, if required.

Westerly Centaurs are excellent family cruising boats with good headroom inside and shallow draft - their bilge keels  enable them to to get to the parts that other craft cannot reach.
